Smart Orbiter Extruder V3.0

The Smart Orbiter Extruder V3.0 is a dual drive all-in-one extruder that has similar mechanical performance to its predecessor V2.0, but has been optimised in many ways, especially design-wise. The lightweight extruder has integrated electronics and is Klipper-optimised.

like the Orbiter V2.0, the Smart Orbiter V3.0 has a large, RNC-coated dual drive planetary gear,

A pure copper heating block is combined with a 72-watt ceramic heater and a CHT nozzle from Bondtech to create an optimal ratio between weight and high flow:

• A bi-metal heatbreak with an extreme temperature gradient ensures printing without blockages,
• There is a very short distance of 17.7mm between the drive gears and the hotend,
• The strain relief has low heat loss,
• Thanks to the middle and side guides, the filament has no room to escape,
• Quick change of nozzle and heating block with simple screw release.

A unique tensioning mechanism is equipped with predefined tension levels,

A frameless fan reduces the weight of the extruder and its dimensions,

The new precision design of the main shaft reduces gear eccentricity,

The Delrin planetary gearbox with aluminium housing and plastic gears is very quiet and low-friction,

Klipper-optimised integrated electronics for filament detection as well as automatic loading and unloading of filaments including:

• Glowing GB LED at the filament input,
• Glowing white LED,
• Internal temperature sensor,
• ESD and short circuit protection,

For easy cleaning and maintenance, the secondary drive wheel can be easily removed,

A double filament exit guide system guarantees the best TPU printing performance.
