Porthcurno filaments

Porthcurno is a sustainable material made from recycled and upcycled fishing nets. The environmentally friendly filament helps ensure that used fishing nets do not end up in the trash or pollute the oceans, but are instead converted into valuable resources through an innovative recycling process.

The filament with a smooth and shiny surface has excellent mechanical and chemical resistance and is designed for temperatures of up to 180¡ãC. With its turquoise blue colour and a slightly glowing effect, the material is reminiscent of the roaring sea from where the fishing nets were used. It is ideal for 3D art projects, and for the production of decorative objects and functional models.
