PA Neat is a polyamide (nylon) filament without additives.
The demand for functional filaments is increasing steadily. The base PA formulation is similar to the PA_CF Low Warp released last year but without carbon. This also means that this material is much less abrasive than the previous version.
Let's compare PA to PLA, which is still the most popular material on the market. PLA is poly-lactic acid with a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of about 45°C. It is not temperature resistant and brittle. Although it is easy to print, it lacks real functionality for most applications. PA (polyamide), on the other hand, has an HDT of 145°C and is therefore resistant to high temperatures and tough. This makes it the perfect material for the professional user to create long-lasting prints.
Now wait, does not PA warp like crazy? We have fixed that and warping is minimal with our new PA Neat.
colorFabb has a well-equipped 3D printing studio with many popular 3D printers. The PA Neat Low Warp has been tested with many 3D printers, resulting in the recommended settings.
Fan For best layer-to-layer adhesion, 0% fan cooling is recommended. If a geometry needs to be cooled, a maximum fan speed of 50% is recommended.
