The NiteHawk 36 is a toolhead board with an integrated RP2040 MCU, a TMC2209 driver and an ADXL345 accelerometer. In contrast to CAN toolboards, the board is equipped with a USB connection, which makes it much easier to set up.
This is the Rev.C version of the board! It includes the following changes:
The shape of the board has been changed. The RESET and BOOT MODE buttons are now easier to reach and the right-angled stepper port connector simplifies cable management. The USB port has also been moved to the top right corner, while all other connectors remain in the same position so that your existing setups will still work.
There's now an optional always-on fan connector (24V) for better cooling. You can solder this on yourself to provide active cooling.
Thanks to the larger board, the clever arrangement of the components and an additional heat sink, the overall heat build-up remains better under control. This not only makes the toolboard more stable but also more durable, even with intensive use.
Furthermore, the USB adapter board has been redesigned. The circuits are now optimised to significantly reduce connection problems. Despite the internal changes, the shape of the adapter remains unchanged.
