In 1948 the 2CV was presented to the public for the first time. With the puristic, inexpensive small car, which was easy to maintain and easy to operate, Citro?n offered a robust mass vehicle for the people, which had an extremely good suspension system in accordance with the thinly developed road network. From 1981, when the 2 CV had long since become a cult object, a two-tone version appeared in series, the wine red and black 2 CV 6 Charleston, which was followed by a yellow and black version from September 1982, both equipped with air-cooled 0.6-litre two-cylinder boxer engine and 29 hp. According to the original, the kit offers chromed hub caps, the typical, chromed headlights as well as a multi-part engine and, of course, a movable bonnet.
