The Proxxon MICRO-Sonic Cutter MSC is a precision tool for effortlessly cutting a wide range of materials - from plastics, fibre composites (CFRP, GFRP) and 3D printed parts to foils, cardboard, MDF, epoxy resin or leather. Whether you need it for modelling, in the workshop or for prototyping, the MSC delivers clean, controlled cuts with impressive ease.

The ergonomically shaped handpiece with a non-slip soft grip fits perfectly in the hand, allowing for precise work even during prolonged use. Inside, a titanium sonotrode, activated by piezo crystals, ensures a high-frequency, ultra-fast oscillation of the blade - resulting in smooth cut edges with absolutely no need for pressure or force. This allows even hard or brittle materials to be separated precisely and with low vibration. The base station provides storage recesses for the handpiece and spare blades, ensuring all parts are easy to store and find.
