Carbon Fibre HTPLA from Protopasta is a combination of milled carbon fibres and a high-performance, heat-treated PLA. The material is characterised by increased stiffness, reduced flexibility, excellent structural strength and layer adhesion with very low warpage.
Models printed with it receive a beautiful matt finish with a slight shine - ideal for prototypes and parts with high dimensional stability (e.g. frames, supports, shells, propellers, tools, etc.).
Tip: If the parts printed with Carbon Fibre HTPLA are heat treated, they show a temperature resistance of up to 155 °C.
Attention! When processing abrasive materials, individual components may wear out more quickly. Therefore, it is recommended to regularly maintain the hardware and replace the nozzles. For longer use, wear-resistant nozzles are recommended.
