dichtol WFT from DIAMANT Polymer is a low-viscosity, high-performance polymer that has been specially developed for the infiltration, impregnation and sealing of porous structures, layers and components. Thanks to its high capillary activity, the polymer penetrates fine cracks and pores independently and seals them permanently using atmospheric pressure - without any pressure or vacuum.
Curing simply takes place under room conditions, without the need for additional heat. After curing, the material is resistant to oils, lubricants and coolants and can withstand temperatures of up to 300 °C.

Versatile application options:
- Infiltration of 3D-printed components for improved tightness and stability;
- Impregnation of cast parts and metal components to seal porosities;
- Sealing of thermally sprayed layers (e.g. APS, HVOF, LDS, flame spraying).
Preparation and application:
Before application, the pores to be sealed must be thoroughly cleaned of dirt residues and other interfering substances.
Brushing and spraying: Apply thinly four times at 1-minute intervals and keep moist for at least 5 minutes so that the product can penetrate deep into the pores,
Injecting and filling: pour dichtol WFT into the desired porous space and leave to work for approx. 5 minutes; then pour off the excess material,
Immerse: immerse the object to be sealed in dichtol WFT and remove after approx. 5 minutes; allow the object to drip off thoroughly.
Under room conditions, dichtol WFT hardens completely after some time.
