Description

The Fillamentum CPE CF112 Carbon was mainly developed for resistance and long-term durability. The new material contains short fibres made of superhard carbon and is suitable for technical and industrial applications that require demanding mechanical properties of the material, such as durability, toughness and long life of the material. CPE CF112 Carbon is also resistant to acids, alkalis and alcohols.

The carbon fibre reinforced CPE is a technical material with excellent properties, with which it is easy to print. The surface effect enables easy painting and priming after printing.

The material is sensitive to moisture and should be kept in a protective bag. Since CPE CF112 Carbon is highly abrasive, a printer with abrasion-resistant nozzles is required for printing. Compared to CPE HG100, the new CPE with carbon fibres promises better wear resistance. On the other hand, if you are looking for something that requires better impact resistance, you should stay with CPE HG100.
