WHAT
MAGIGOO PP is designed for professional use to work exclusively with polypropylene filaments. The part is relatively easy to remove after cooling and the glue residue can also be easily removed.
WHY
Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic semi-crystalline polymer that exhibits good impact strength and ductility. It is chemically resistant, making it ideal for use in food packaging and medical devices.
HOW
MAGIGOO PP has been developed and tested to work with various PP filament brands.
- Shake the bottle vigorously.
- Apply to the desired area by pressing the nib onto the print bed (activating the inner valve) and spread as required.
- Print according to the filament / printer manufacturer's recommendations
- Allow to cool and remove - The part should be easier to remove after sufficient cooling. If the part is difficult to remove, a spatula or similar should be used to assist in removing the part.
- Cleaning - Use a damp, hard sponge to remove any adhesive residue. Once the adhesive layer is wet, it will form a white layer that can be easily rubbed off with a sponge. Once the layer is completely detached from the glass, it can be wiped off with a damp cloth and finally cleaned with a dry paper towel.
Tips
For larger prints, a 20 mm wide border with several layers is recommended
In cases of excessive adhesion, it is recommended to moisten the bed with a small amount of water.
