Fiberon? ASA-CF is a high-performance filament based on acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA), reinforced with 8% carbon fibres. The result is a material that combines exceptional rigidity and dimensional accuracy with a matt, lightweight surface ¨C impressive both in mechanical performance and aesthetic quality.

Thanks to its excellent UV and weather resistance, ASA-CF is ideal for outdoor use and also delivers enhanced stability under thermal stress. It provides the mechanical strength and dimensional stability required for functional prototypes, durable components and end-use applications ¨C from the automotive sector and mechanical engineering to consumer products.

Note: It is recommended to use a 3D printer with an enclosed build chamber. While the carbon fibre content reduces the risk of warping, ASA remains a material with a high glass transition temperature (Tg). Rapid cooling can lead to internal stresses, which in larger or taller prints may result in cracking. A controlled and consistent temperature environment will therefore lead to significantly more stable results.
