Description

The Bambu Lab AMS Feeding Funnel is a central component inside the AMS First Stage Feeder. It consists of mechanical structural parts and a sensor board for filament detection. As soon as the sensor recognises that the filament has been inserted, the feed in the AMS is automatically activated and the filament is transported further. If, on the other hand, the filament is inserted incorrectly, the sensor also recognises this deviation and transmits the information to the 3D printer.

Important note: The circuit board of the AMS First Stage Feeder has been revised to improve the product. This change particularly affects AMS units with the earliest mainboard version. Therefore, please check the version of your AMS mainboard on Bambu Lab Wiki before purchasing the First Stage Feeder or the Feeding Funnel. There you will find more detailed information on what to look out for.
