WHAT

MAGIGOO PA is designed for professional use to work exclusively with polyamide filaments. The part should be relatively easy to remove once it has cooled down and the adhesive residue should also be easy to remove.

WHY

In general, there are three main types of PA in the FDM industry, which include PA12, PA66 and PA6. Sometimes these materials can either be combined with other polymers or reinforced with glass or carbon fibres. In general, nylons have high strength, toughness, elasticity, wear resistance, chemical resistance and heat resistance and are highly sought after in various industrial applications.

Nylon filaments pose a challenge for the FDM printer due to their lower adhesion to conventional 3D printing surfaces and their higher tendency to warp. In addition, there are several classes of PA filaments, each of which behave differently. MAGIGOO-PA is a specialised solution for FDM printing of PA filaments, developed for a variety of PA types

HOW

MAGIGOO PA has been developed and tested to work with various PA and fibre-reinforced filaments.

• Shake the bottle
• Apply to the desired area by pressing the tip onto the print bed (activate the inner valve) and spread as needed.
• Print according to the filament/printer manufacturer's recommendations
• Allow to cool and remove. The print should pop off immediately
• Cleaning - Use a damp cloth to wipe clean.

SAFETY

Use of this product with filaments other than PA filaments may cause excessive adhesion and damage the build surface.
